Ritwik now 4 years old

Ritwik was visiting Acapulco, Mexico, with his family on his fourth birthday. He had the time of his life at the beaches there. The official birthday celebration came a week later when everybody celebrated at a party in a park near his house.

At 4 Ritwik feels almost like an adult; he wants to do everything by himself - buckling the car seat, putting on his clothes, and taking care of little brother Raj. He likes to play the age game which goes "When I am 5 (or 10 or 16), how old will X be?" - where X is any one of his friends.

In addition to cartoons, Ritwik is also fascinated by the songs and dances in Hindi movies. He sings the songs without understanding the lyrics and can do all the Shah Rukh moves. Another fascination is Spiderman - he has Spiderman clothes, mask and other memorabilia.

Dad launches new home page

After a 6-month hiatus, Dad finally gave his son's website a much needed boost. When asked what took so long, Dad replied: "Well, things have been quite busy at the work and home fronts. Two kids are six times as exhausting as one. In addition, I was involved in other projects and making time for the website was getting to be more and more difficult". When asked about the newspaper theme for the website, Dad said: "I've always liked self-referential structures. I thought it would be fun to do stuff that was self-referential on more than one level". Whatever that means.

Harry Potter/ Spiderman mixup

It happened in San Francisco. The new Harry Potter and Spiderman movies were running side by side. In what was described as a freak incident, Spiderman swung on his web at the same time that Harry was flying on his broom. For 3 seconds, viewers of the Potter movie claimed to have seen Spiderman on their screens and vice-versa. John Theaterwalla, the manager of the movie hall explained it away as a technical hitch. But the fans are not buying that.
